Location: Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales
£30,000 – £35,000 per annum +benefits
Our Client are a privately-owned, reputable contractor with a strong track record of delivering high-quality projects across South Wales. Their portfolio spans refurbishment, new build, and conversion schemes, with project values ranging from £250k to £5 million. Working on numerous frameworks within the social housing sector, they work collaboratively with clients and stakeholders to deliver exceptional results.
The Role
Working closely with experienced Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers, you will play a key role in the cost management and financial control of a wide variety of projects. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting with the preparation of bills of quantities, cost plans, and valuations.
Supporting the management of subcontractor packages, from procurement through to final account.
Helping to monitor project costs, variations, and cash flow.
Contributing to the preparation of tender and contract documents.
Working as part of a close-knit team to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
About You
Qualified to HNC level
Previous experience in a contracting environment is desirable
Strong numerical and analytical skills, with great attention to detail.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A proactive approach and willingness to learn.
